Rabia arrived in Birmingham from the vibrant city of Doha, Qatar, with a clear goal: to gain a practical, world-class qualification that would fast-track her career. She chose to pursue an HND in Business and Leadership at our college, drawn by the course's strong reputation for blending theory with real-world skills. Immersing herself in Birmingham's dynamic business environment—from the bustling Jewellery Quarter to the innovative startups in Digbeth—gave her studies an immediate, practical context. After graduating with a Distinction, Rabia was determined to launch her career in the UK. Our college's career services team worked closely with her, providing dedicated support to refine her CV and prepare for the competitive job market through several mock interviews. This targeted preparation was the key that unlocked her dream. Today, Rabia works as a Business Analyst for a leading tech firm right here in Birmingham, applying the strategic and analytical skills she honed during her HND daily.
