This Beginner's Academic English Course is a foundation course – it prepares you for Functional Skills or GCSE but does not itself carry a regulated qualification certificate. Think of it as a confidence-building bridge course, completely free to help you progress.

Will this course help me pass my GCSE English?

Yes. The course covers the essential grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills needed for GCSE foundation tier. Many learners use it as a stepping stone before enrolling in an accredited GCSE or Functional Skills course – and it costs you nothing.

Is this course recognised by UK employers?

While this course does not lead to a regulated qualification (like a GCSE or Functional Skills certificate), the skills you gain are directly applicable to the workplace. Employers will value your improved communication abilities. We also issue a college certificate of completion to show your achievement.
