What level is this Functional Skills Maths course?

This course prepares you for the Level 2 Functional Skills Maths qualification, which is widely accepted as equivalent to a GCSE grade C/4. We also offer Entry Level and Level 1 options for learners who need to build foundational skills first.

How is the course assessed?

Assessment consists of a final exam covering all areas of the curriculum. You'll complete: A calculator paper for complex problem-solving A non-calculator paper testing core mental arithmetic Throughout the course, you'll complete practice assessments to build confidence and identify areas for improvement.

Do I need to be good at Maths already?

No. Our course is designed for all ability levels. We start with the fundamentals and build your skills progressively. Your initial assessment will help us place you at the right level and provide appropriate support throughout.

How long does it take to complete?

The course is designed to be completed in just 1 month with our intensive format. This includes: Live online classes on weekends Self-study and practice between sessions Exam preparation and final assessment
